Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. This role focuses on overseeing the end-to-end sourcing process to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Candidates with a strong foundation in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management-particularly with experience in raw materials-are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute sourcing plans that balance cost efficiency with quality requirements
• Partner with various internal departments to identify and fulfill purchasing needs
• Perform thorough market analysis to discover and assess potential suppliers
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve advantageous terms and agreements
• Track and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any supply chain concerns promptly
• Use MRP and related systems to support inventory control and procurement planning
• Maintain adherence to relevant procurement regulations and compliance standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Biochemistry, or a related discipline preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, or materials management, ideally with bulk materials
• In-depth understanding of procurement lifecycle, supplier negotiation, and vendor management
• Proficient with MRP systems and procurement software
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in the food or nutrition sectors is advantageous but not required
