The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Providence Valdez Medical Center provides restorative nursing care and rehabilitation activities to long-term care residents in accordance with treatment plans from therapists. The role requires state-approved CNA certification, Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification, and annual in-service training, with preference for prior experience in rehabilitation or custodial nursing care. The Restorative Nursing Assistant will provide residents with restorative/rehabilitative activities according to the treatment plan or Range of Motion (ROM) plan written by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech-Language Pathologist.
