Essential Job Functions:
All team members of Correctional Counseling INC (CCI) are required to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times and comply with the standards set forth in the Employee Handbook. All team members are required to support the mission of Correctional Counseling INC (CCI in all activities and act as ambassadors.
The Communication and Marketing Specialist works with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement strategies to promote CCI’s models of practice, while budling relationships with customers and stakeholders through various channels.
Job Specific Expectations:
1. Develop and cultivate customer relationships utilizing multiple medias
2. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
a. Co-Create and execute marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives to achieve CCI business goals.
b. Produce engaging and informative content for various platforms including social media, websites, email marketing and printed materials.
c. Create engaging and visually appealing content, including text images, videos and graphics.
d. Manage and optimize various communication channels including social media, emails and traditional marketing methods.
e. Track and analyze performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives to identify areas for improvement.
f. Design and create innovation marketing strategies to increase customer activity through website and conferences.
3. CCI Website/Social Media Management:
a. Maintain the CCI website and additional organizational websites updates as needed throughout the year.
b. Assist in creating new website and/or create innovative designs and updates to website.
c. Experienced in graphic design for websites, social media posts and presentations.
d. Develop social media platform content, manage and execute the CCI social media platforms.
e. Create and Maintain product bundles on website
f. Create coupon codes and flash sales
g. Grow customer database
h. Create and send emails to customers
i. Increase CCI’s online presence, promoting CCI’s trainings, models of practice, speaking engagements, webinars, educational opportunities, research, news stories, etc.
4. Speaking Engagements/Conferences in collaboration with Chief Operating Officer:
a. Submit speaker proposals for conferences
b. Maintain and update CCI’s Presentation List
c. Maintain and update conference schedules including travel, for CEO/COO, marketing supplies and materials, etc.
d. Maintain and update CEO/COO speaker biographies and resumes
e. Attend conferences with CEO/COO to promote CCI including videos and meeting with customers about models of practice.
5. Presentations in collaboration with CEO/COO:
a. Research topics provided by CEO/COO
b. Create outlines for presentations
c. Create annotation references APA format
d. Create and maintain research articles library.
e. Create/Update PowerPoint presentations that are engaging including graphics, imagines, videos, etc.
f. Create and Maintain slide decks with most updated research information
g. Update PowerPoint Training modules that are engaging including graphics, imagines, videos, etc.
6. Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and marketing efforts.
7. Staying-Up to-Date on latest trends and technologies in marketing and communications.
8. Advance Technical skills to include MS Office; Zoom; Online Platforms; CANVA; Graphic Design

Any other duties that are assigned. Any other duties that are of a general nature and are related to the scope of practice of this position. Performs job duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable Safety and Health policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Associates or Bachelor Degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
2. Two years of professional experience communication and marketing.
3. Proficiency in MS Office and other technological platforms including CANVA.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
6. Experience with various marketing channels including social media, email and digital advertising.
7. Ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
8. Proficient in using marketing analytic tools.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational, detail oriented and time management skills.
