Corporate Associate MidLevel to Senior (M&A / Emerging Companies & Venture Capital)

Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA

Position Type: Associate (Class Years 20182022)

A toptier international law firm is seeking midlevel to senior associates to join its Corporate & Finance practice in either San Francisco or Seattle. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated transactional work with founders, investors, and highgrowth companies at every stage of the corporate life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on M&A and emerging companies/venture capital (EC/VC) transactions
Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents and related agreements
Manage elements of deals independently while collaborating closely with partners and clients
Provide strategic counsel to founders and investors across industries
Participate in a supportive and teamoriented practice with strong mentorship and partner access

Qualifications

37 years of corporate transactional experience, with a focus on M&A and EC/VC work
Proven ability to manage multiple deal components
Strong drafting, negotiating, and client communication skills
Teamoriented mindset with entrepreneurial drive
Licensed, or eligible to become licensed, in California or Washington
Excellent academic credentials

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 $420,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. The firm also provides a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative environment designed to support longterm career growth.
