This is a rare opportunity to help build a product from the ground up with a small, elite team. About the Role You'll help design and develop core systems that power human-like conversations across voice and text, integrate with electronic medical records, and enable seamless onboarding of healthcare organizations. Responsibilities Build and scale conversational AI experiences for phone and text using large language models. Develop reusable and customizable agent architecture to onboard new clients rapidly. Design and implement robust integrations with multiple EHR/EMR systems. Participate directly in customer conversations to better understand and solve their pain points. Lead end-to-end development of new product features from ideation to production with minimal oversight. Optimize system reliability, performance, and testability as the platform grows. Work closely with a highly ambitious founding team to drive product direction and technical strategy. Qualifications 3–7 years of software engineering experience, preferably at Seed to Series B startups. Strong backend skills, with fluency in Python; experience with Django and React is a major plus. Proven track record of 0→1 ownership, taking features or systems from scratch to production. Customer-obsessed: regularly engages with users to inform product decisions. Self-directed and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with little structure. Holds a Computer Science degree from a top 20 U.S. university. Willing to work in the SF office 4–5 days/week (preferred).
