Job Description

Gallery Administrative Assistant Location Plymouth, MN :

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. This position will support day to day operations of the Cambria Surfaces Gallery in Plymouth assisting with guest relations and customer experience as well as event coordination and details.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Gallery during open hours and evening event functions
  • Greet and attend to guests and provide information to better help homeowners and designers understand the benefits of Cambria
  • Process purchase agreements and sales orders
  • Manage communication between homeowners, business partners and the appropriate internal Cambria representative to assist with each unique situation
  • General clerical work including data entry, answering multiple phone lines, filing, etc.
  • Word processing and extensive use of Excel spreadsheets
  • Preparing specialized and standard reports
  • Maintain a clean Gallery and always make sure the space is presentable and in perfect condition
  • Stay educated on design trends
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in a retail or showroom environment providing excellent guest services
  • Availability to work one or two Saturdays monthly
  • Positive and self-motivated individual who can work independently
  • Experience in the home, building or interior design industry is a plus

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: See Qualifications
  • Systems: Basic Computer Knowledge, Google Suites & Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to sit & stand for extended periods
