Overview
We are seeking a Full Time or Live-In Housekeeper /home Manager for the upcoming summer in Gilford, New Hampshire and possibly year round in Florida for the winters. This is in a beautiful home for a loving family. The job duties are cooking and meal prep, light cleaning, and organizing the home and assisting with entertaining and sometimes baby sitting.. Note there is a weekly cleaning crew that does the main bedsheets and deep cleans.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining order in the residence, cooking, ensuring a welcoming environment for family guests throughout the summer. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently and alongside the home owner.

We are looking for someone who is honest, kind, has good work habits and integrity. English is preferred but not necessary. Spanish speaking is okay. References required. No criminal background of any kind. Pay and benefits are negotiable based on experience, skill set and whether you are full time or live in. There will be scheduled days off. The right person can be relocated from anywhere in the United States to work the summer or perhaps full time.

Approximate Hours: Hours are flexible and changeable and there will be days off as requested. 

Sun 10am-6pm ( as needed)
Mon 10am-6pm
Tue 10am-6pm
Wed 10am-6pm
Thu 10am-6pm
Fri 12 noon to 8pm
Sat 10am-6pm

Duties ( Note: there is a weekly deep clean cleaning crew.

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Maintain basic cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, bedrooms and kitchens.
• Floor care maintenance, including sweeping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
• Light gardening.
• Light meal preparation.

Skills

• Strong experience in residential cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
• Kind and positive demeanor to enhance guest experiences.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Experience in housekeeping is beneficial.
• Basic cooking skills.
