Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is hiring for an Industrial Painter to work in Gatesville, TX. This position will ensure that manufacturing products receive a flawless and durable finish. This requires preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint, and performing quality checks to meet high standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Pay: $19-$22/hr to start DOE

Location: Gatesville, TX 76528

Job Status: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary to ensure proper paint adhesion.
• Accurately mix industrial grade paints, coatings, and solvents to match specifications and achieve desired colors and textures.
• Apply paint and coatings using various methods, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers, to achieve a uniform and flawless finish.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards, making touch-ups and corrections as needed.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and time spent on each project.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of projects.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new painting techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of proven experience as an Industrial Painter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Prior Sandblasting experience or training required
• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the specified hours and occasional overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in painting is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bending, lifting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, walking, and standing for long hours
• Reach, push, pull and lifting on a frequent basis using hands, arms and wrists
• Successfully pass a Pulmonary Function Test and Drug Screening
