Job Overview Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) Healthcare is seeking a full-time critical care intensivist to join their busy and growing program in Brooksville, Florida. ICC Healthcare employees over 500 providers in 59 programs with 6-8 new programs opening each year. We are part of the HCA system of care. HCA owns and operates over 186 facilities in 21 states providing services to over 26 million patients annually. The success of the ICC intensivist program relies on strong team building strategies within the ICU, the hardwiring of best practice evidence base protocols, and streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services.
Position Highlights - _x000D_
- Qualified Candidates:
- Teaching responsibilities with ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs
- 15 shifts per month in 3-5 day blocks; day and night shifts
- 12 hour shifts covering a 36-bed medical/surgical ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults
- Day & Night shifts (rotated): 2 MDs (7am to 7pm); 1 MD (7 pm to 7 am)
- Busy program with high acuity patient population
