Journeyman Industrial Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)
Location: Calgary, AB
Industry: Mining, Drilling, Water Well, Construction
We’re seeking experienced Journeyman Industrial Mechanics / Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our team working on mobile directional drilling equipment . This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge products.
About the Role:
Collaborate as part of a team assembling new products in our manufacturing facility
Review and interpret schematics alongside engineering and drafting teams to ensure precise assembly
Apply expertise in hydraulics, PLCs, mechanical systems , and schematic interpretation per client specifications
Support product start-up and commissioning by guiding clients through initial operation—note this role is not responsible for ongoing maintenance
Communicate clearly and think on your feet while advising clients during commissioning
What We’re Looking For:
Journeyman Industrial Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician with relevant experience
Background in mining, drilling, water well, oil & gas, or construction equipment preferred
Experience working with hydraulic and PLC systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical schematics
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with clients and internal teams
Millwright experience with crossover skills in drilling or construction industries is a plus
