Position Description: Our client is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to support firm-wide lateral attorney, law school, and staff recruiting efforts. This role involves a variety of administrative responsibilities and requires strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring direct law firm recruiting experience, as the team does not currently have the bandwidth to train someone new to the role. This is a hybrid position requiring 10 days per month in the office. Responsibilities Work closely and proactively with the Director of Talent Acquisition to implement firm-wide recruiting initiatives Assist in initiating lateral and staff searches, including posting jobs internally and externally and coordinating with internal stakeholders and search firms Schedule interviews and manage the distribution and collection of interviewer evaluations Track candidates throughout the recruiting process and ensure completion of all pre‑hire due diligence Support the development and production of recruiting materials Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and online recruitment content Generate reports and track recruiting metrics and firm-wide project outcomes Prepare and maintain search firm fee agreements Collaborate with the Talent Team and other departments across the firm Required Qualifications Law firm experience is required; candidates without prior law firm experience will not be considered Minimum of 3 to 5 years of legal recruiting or legal professional services experience Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in interactions with firm personnel Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects Superior working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with PowerPoint preferred Experience with viDesktop or similar applicant tracking systems Preferred Qualifications Ability to start by early 2026 Demonstrated commitment to long‑term engagement and professional growth Health and wellness Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer‑paid short‑term and long‑term disability insurance Employer‑paid life insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Financial and retirement 401(k) plan Profit sharing Pension plan Charitable gift matching Time off and family Paid parental leave Paid time off, sick days, and holidays Backup daycare through Bright Horizons Professional and other benefits Employee referral bonus program Pre‑tax transit reimbursement Professional development and training opportunities Highlights Position Locations: Downtown Chicago Schedule: 2/3 Hybrid Our client provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees in a harassment‑free environment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, alienage, or veteran status.
