The Job:
SmartStart Education seeks small group Middle School Math and ELA Tutors to work with small groups of middle school students. Each small group consists of 1-4 students. Each group consists of students who have been identified as students who are struggling with fundamental math or ELA skills. Students are in 6th through 8th grade .
The tutor will work with each group several times throughout the week at a middle school in Bronx, NY . Groups will take place within the classroom (push-in services) or outside of the classroom (pull-out services). Tutors should be flexible and comfortable with both settings. Each tutor will be given the responsibility of taking daily attendance using a personal device (mobile phone) or a school issued laptop.

Salary Range: $145.55 to $235.62 per day.
