Full-Time or Part-Time | Direct Hire (W-2) or 1099 Contractor
Omni Wound Physicians is actively hiring Mobile Wound Care Physicians (MDs/DOs) across Nevada to deliver advanced, in-person wound care services. This is a field-based, procedural physician role serving patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term care centers, assisted living communities, and private residences.
This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking autonomy, flexibility, and purpose-driven care delivery in a mobile environment. Both direct hire (W-2) and independent contractor (1099) models are available to fit different career goals and work preferences.

Schedule & Shift Options
Minimum Requirement: At least two shifts per workweek
Shift Hours: Typically between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM local time (subject to change based on patient needs)
Full-Time: Minimum 30+ hours per week (eligible for full benefits)
Part-Time: Minimum 2 shifts/week (paid sick leave accrual available)
On-Call & Weekend Needs: May be occasionally requested with advance notice
Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: $245,000 – $425,000 annually
Compensation is based on employment classification, region, experience, and productivity. Additional performance-based incentives may be available.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver bedside wound care to patients in SNFs, ALFs, LTCs, and private residences
Perform sharp debridement, NPWT, skin biopsies, gastrostomy tube care
Diagnose and manage complex wounds (pressure ulcers, DFUs, VLUs, surgical wounds)
Obtain informed consent before initiating procedures
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care and prevention
Document all visits and treatments using OWP’s HIPAA-compliant EHR
Coordinate with SNF staff and interdisciplinary teams
Support continuous quality improvement and best practice adherence
Qualifications
Required:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Nevada
Board certification in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related field
Minimum of 3–6 years of relevant clinical experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) or similar certification
DEA registration (especially if prescribing is expected)
Experience in SNF, LTC, or home health environments
Proficiency using EHRs and mobile documentation tools
Travel & Physical Requirements
Daily driving required (up to 70 miles/day possible)
Able to stand, walk, and perform bedside procedures for extended periods
Lift up to 25 pounds (equipment, medical bags)
Must enter buildings that may lack elevator/ADA access
Must have valid auto insurance meeting Nevada minimum liability requirements
Must document care in the field using a mobile tablet or laptop
Nevada Compliance Notes
Licensure: Medical licensure through the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine Board (DO)
Prescriptive Authority: DEA registration required for controlled substances; Nevada does not require separate state-controlled substance registration
CME Requirement: 40 CME hours every two years, including pain management and ethics courses
License Renewal: Biennial renewal; fingerprinting and background checks required
