Job Description

BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has an excellent opportunity for a full time faculty in the Department of Neurology. The position is patient-centered in a medical center, known for its excellence in clinical care and education and an affiliation with Mt Sinai School of Medicine.

The faculty Neurology position involves both inpatient and outpatient patient care services. It requires a rotational night and weekend call commitment. It also encourages teaching of medical students and supervision of residents and other health care professionals. Candidates should be board eligible/certified in Neurology.

The competitive salary range is $300,000-$350,000. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Benefits include an incentive compensation bonus, paid medical malpractice insurance, retirement contributions to a 401 (a) plan. There is paid time away from practice and an annual CME allowance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor Osteopathy

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Certification with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

• Specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program

• Active License

• Current New York State Medical Practitioner License

• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $300,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
