Job Description
Responsible for assisting in the performance of our overnight long PK clinical trials, including laboratory procedures, documentation whether in writing or electronic capture and completion of study visits, in accordance with the protocol and with protocol requirements. Requires strong computer skills.
Reviews each protocol and understands the requirements of any and all tasks that are assigned by Study Coordinators.
Assists with venipuncture, vitals, ECGs and urine samples when requested by Study Coordinators.
Assists with laboratory processing when requested by Study Coordinators.
Assists in cleaning procedures for patient rooms, bathrooms, kitchen area and other areas.
Participates in patient feeding, assisting with preparation of the bath chair, and patient activities of daily living as required.
Monitors patient status and accompanies patient on their hourly walk.
Completes written and/or electronic notations of patient protocol visits upon source documents as directed by a Study Coordinator.
Participates in Serious Adverse Event (SAE) and Adverse Event (AE) Reporting and related activities.
Participates in emergency protocols, per training.
Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
Performs other additional duties as requested.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
