We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is seamless. This position combines administrative duties with patient advocacy, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth to create a positive and comfortable environment.
• Schedule, adjust, and confirm patient appointments while prioritizing urgent needs.
• Clearly communicate treatment plans and procedures to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with dental professionals to organize and coordinate treatment plans and follow-up visits.
• Provide patients with detailed financial information, including insurance coverage, payment plans, and out-of-pocket costs.
• Handle insurance claims submission and follow-ups to ensure timely processing.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records for patient accounts.
• Keep patient records updated and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Manage doctor and hygiene schedules to maximize office efficiency.
• Act as a patient advocate by addressing concerns and fostering strong relationships built on empathy and trust.• Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills and a welcoming demeanor.
• Experience managing multi-line phone systems.
• Solid organizational and administrative abilities.
• Familiarity with medical or dental terminology and processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
