Overview:

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for responsible and energetic individual and small group Personal Trainers . You will help to support your clients' safety and training goals while leading them in appropriate activities. As a YMCA staff member, you'll provide excellent service to members in a positive environment that promotes wellness and engagement.

 

Salary range $22-35 per hour based on experience/availability. We have 3 levels of qualifications with ascending pay ranges.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and instruct a variety of personal training and small group training sessions for members. Provide encouragement and expertise for the client in support of their health and well-being goals
• Administer, track and evaluate health history questionnaires, fitness assessments and other pre-participation documentation with regard to individual exercise programs
• Adhere to all guidelines and expectations which include but is not limited to providing safe sessions and responding to and reporting any accidents or incidents
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification such as the
  • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
  • American Council on Exercise (ACE)
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
  • National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
  • or other approved and accredited certifications.
• Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen
• Demonstrated customer service skills and verbal communication skills
