Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Department/Unit Summary
Delivers comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration, clinical treatments, and documentation. Monitors and communicates patient status, prioritizes care based on urgency, and assists with daily living activities. Collaborates across disciplines for coordinated care, discharge, and referrals, while providing patient and family education tailored to individual needs. Ensures completion of diagnostic and support services, adheres to safety protocols like surgical site verification and narcotic counts, and demonstrates expertise in Ambulatory and Endoscopic Care, including use of specialized equipment and moderate sedation. Acts as a patient advocate, supporting their physical and emotional well-being.
