Sales Professional

The Sales Professional establishes client relationships and makes the client’s needs their primary focus. Taking the time to listen to clients and anticipate their needs while taking personal responsibility for the client’s requests. The Sales Professional is curious, knowledgeable and ensures they remain up to date on merchandise by continuously gathering information on new products as they are introduced. The Sales Professional strives to create a good impression and delivers memorable service to clients, exhibiting a passion for timepieces and/or jewelry with a focus on storytelling and hospitality.

Responsibilities

1. Always maintain a professional attitude and conduct business with integrity.
2. Confidently incorporate storytelling and technical details through hospitable interactions with clients when presenting products.
3. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and seasonal individual and store sales goals, enhancing and developing the business.
4. Build, maintain and develop clientele through use of company CRM platform focusing on relationship building.
5. Develop and maintain product knowledge on the brands, collections, and pieces carried in the showroom as well as general industry knowledge.
6. Offer assistance and build effective working relationships with team members.
7. Turn clients over to another member of the team as required to best serve the client’s needs.
8. Educate clients on product features, history and knowledge.
9. Organize merchandise and displays in accordance with VM guidelines while optimizing sales and minimizing shrinkage.
10. Supports the client experience within showroom hospitality guidelines.
11. Independently uses all company systems, hardware and software required in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
12. Complete relevant administrative responsibilities and tasks that support the Client Experience.
13. Take in and deliver client repairs when required.
14. Performs all the duties and responsibilities as assigned.
15. Comply with all Company guidelines, policies and procedures as outlined in all company communications.
16. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
17. Process payment and complete sales transactions.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

1. Required to stand up for long periods of time.
2. May be required to lift packages/boxes.
3. Work in the store 42-45 hours per week.
4. Schedule flexibility and availability required to accommodate showroom hours, including evenings and weekends.

Knowledge and Skills Required

High School Diploma

Experience

2-3 years luxury retail sales experience

Skills and Knowledge

1. Excellent storytelling ability
2. Passion for timepieces and/or jewelry
3. Ability to build client & personal relationships
4. Excellent client service and selling skills
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
6. Strong organizational skills
7. Ability to work in a team and leverage talents
8. Time management while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
9. Computer literate (MS Office)
