Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent – Qatar Airways, Los Angeles, USA Ref # 228606 Closing date: 26‑Nov‑2025 Responsibilities Handle customer requirements and requests professionally, ensuring minimum complaints; support travel agents with seat confirmations and VIP bookings/ticket queries. Manage maximum number of telephone calls and passengers while following QR procedures and regulations to achieve the highest quality of reservation service. Arrange reservations and routings for passengers utilizing the Amadeus system; effectively communicate fares, policies, and procedures to passengers. Issue tickets and quote correct fares to passengers. Investigate complaints to define and correct weak areas. Prepare staff roster to ensure proper distribution of manpower. Ensure quality of work, meet airline standards, and motivate staff to achieve positive contribution on a daily basis. Maximize customer satisfaction, service excellence, and customer retention and volume of FFP enrolments by portraying friendliness, telephone etiquette, and professionalism at all times towards clients. Prepare sales reports for finance and generate weekly reports to be submitted to your Line Manager per the set deadlines and guidelines. Act as office communicator, handling telephonic and email queries from QR outstations in a timely manner. Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department. Additional Responsibilities Perform the Aircraft Turnaround Check (ATC) duty as assigned by the ASM to ensure safe operation of QR ground ramp product. Operate aircraft cabin service doors from the outside where applicable to facilitate and reduce the associated safety risk of inadvertent slide deployment. Qualifications Candidates must possess either a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience or a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of job-related experience. Certificate of Ticketing and Reservations. ATA Amadeus Certificate is an added advantage. Working experience in an airline or customer‑related position. Computer knowledge. Fair knowledge of world geography. Excellent English language communication skills – spoken and written. Thorough knowledge of fare construction and ticketing. Ability to work independently as well as function as a team. Numeric skills. You must have the current right to live and work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
