Talent4Health is seeking a travel Medical Assistant for a travel job in Renton, Washington.

Job Description & Requirements

Experience : 2+ years GI/Endoscopy department recent required ONLY CMA LICENSE ACCEPTED via AAMA Verification for this job 

 

Unit Notes

IMPORTANT : Client will not accept any travelers with license violations related to medication diversion or patient endangerment. If you are aware of such issues, do not submit . Any such findings will result in immediate contract termination .

Certification Requirements

 

• CMA Certification is REQUIRED to be submitted for this position
• No other certification will be accepted in place of CMA via AAMA Verification
• A state-specific CMA license is NOT required

Shift Information

• Shift : 4x10s (Monday – Friday)
• Hours : 40 hours/week
• No weekends required
• All schedules follow modified patterns and are subject to change with advance notice based on departmental needs

Facility & Clinical Information

• Scrub Color : Teal (not provided)
• EMR : EPIC (preferred experience)
• BLS Certification : Required

Department Details

• Procedural Rooms : 3
• Patient Ratio : 1:2
• Support Staff : Utilizes float techs and PA-Cs
• Setting : Outpatient center
• Patient Population : GI patients undergoing procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy
• Acuity Level : Low
• Staff Placement : Travelers typically assigned to Pre-op and Recovery
• Recovery Phase : Phase II only (non-intubated patients)
• Sedation :
  • Most cases use Propofol administered by anesthesia
  • Occasional use of conscious sedation (Midazolam and Fentanyl) by one physician
