Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with a CA RN license and Epic EMR experience for a day shift position with weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based case management setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• Required to work at least 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
• Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day
• Floating required between all facilities within the state
• Uses Epic EMR
• Responsible for managing patient cases and coordinating care plans
• Pre-start online modules required, averaging 16 hours to complete
• RTO and scheduling requests must be finalized during submission; excessive RTO may impact consideration
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start
• All travelers are expected to float if needed or risk assignment termination

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent case management RN experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable setting within the last 3 years
• Local candidates accepted if residing at least 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
