Vehicle & Equipment Mechanic - Golf Course (Division of Parks and Recreation)

SALARY

 

The minimum salary is $20.161 per hour

This position is eligible for overtime (non-exempt), if applicable.

Pay Grade 514

 

This position is eligible to receive hazardous duty supplemental pay at $90/month ($0.52 per hour)upon hire.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this classification is to perform automotive repair and preventative maintenance on Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government's vehicles and equipment.

 

This position maintains all golf course equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent


• Four (4) years of related experience


• Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
  
   


• Valid Driver's License required to qualify

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Repairs, maintains and/or operates vehicles and equipment, including performing preventative maintenance


• Fabricates parts and components as needed to make repairs


• Maintains records of work performed


• Purchases and maintains inventory of parts and supplies


• Performs related work as assigned

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• May be subject to call-back duty
