Job Title: Modeler Job Description We are seeking a skilled Modeler with expertise in Alias and a strong background in Automotive OEM. The ideal candidate will possess equal experience in both interior and exterior modeling and have a solid understanding of good modeling practices and real-world construction for physical models. Responsibilities + Collaborate with designers, modelers, visualization, and engineers in a friendly and professional manner. + Read sketches and understand engineering models and files for release to vendors who will make physical models from our data. + React flexibly to project timeline changes, design request changes, engineering input, and last-minute changes overall. + Work with scan data, including accurate reverse engineering from scans, scan cleanup, and cutting scans to graphic or material breakup for visual or modeling purposes. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Autodesk Studio. + Proficiency in Alias + Experience as an Automotive OEM Modeler. + Equal experience in both interior and exterior modeling. + Understanding of good modeling practices and real-world construction for physical models. + Ability to work in single-span surface and logical patch construction for ease of change and collaboration. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience building models from designer sketch models using software such as Blender. + Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and professionals. Work Environment The role requires working collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals including designers, engineers, and visualization experts. The work environment promotes flexibility and adaptability to accommodate project timeline changes and last-minute requests.lias Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
