We're dedicated to nurturing our team members and empowering them to thrive in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and a love for sports entertainment intersect.Key Attributes for Success include a genuine passion for service, strong teamwork abilities, adaptability, effective communication skills, a guest-centric approach, proactive problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead Security Officers at Barclays Center.- Uphold the Security Department’s Prime Directives to protect safety and security of guests, employees, and assets.- Resolve escalated security situations and provide warnings to guests not in compliance.- Assist with directional and informational inquiries.- Document all major/minor incidents.- Represent Barclays Center and the Security Department professionally.- Apply logical thinking to varied and complex tasks.- Perform multiple duties efficiently without loss of composure.STAFF SUPERVISION:- Deploy staff for events, assign shifts, breaks, and equipment.- Train staff in guest service and security skills.- Monitor staff interactions to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.- Provide leadership, guidance, feedback, and performance reviews.- Handle disciplinary documentation and communicate issues to management.- Motivate staff and lead by example.24/7 BUILDING SECURITY SUPERVISION:- Supervise 24/7 posts including Loading Dock, Dean Admin, and Command Center.- Conduct daily inventories and equipment checks.- Maintain knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, ISS systems, access control, and visitor management.- Enforce hourly building patrols.CANDIDATE PROFILE:- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.- High School diploma or equivalent.- Previous security experience with valid NYS Security Guard Card and F03 Fire Guard license.- Experience in sports/entertainment facility or law enforcement preferred.- 1-2 years supervisory experience.- Ability to multi-task, maintain relationships, pass background checks.- Strong teamwork, adaptability, grooming, professionalism.- Ability to lift 50 pounds, walk/stand/climb stairs for over 4 hours.KEY COMPETENCIES:- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.- Ability to write reports and professional emails.- Ethical conduct, teamwork, customer focus, stress management, composure, communication proficiency, technical capacity.ASM Global reserves the right to modify job description during employment.
